Scrambled Letters
The letters are all there. They are just in the wrong order.
Pick a category or take them at random, then unscramble ten words against the clock. CANRFE is FRANCE. NADAAC is CANADA. The faster you get it, the more it is worth.
All our content is hand written by our team of editors. 300 words and hints across 9 packs so far, and we add new ones every day.
How to play
A game is ten words. Tap the letters in the right order to rebuild each one, or just type them. Tap a placed letter to send it back. Stuck? Shuffle the letters to see them in a new order, or take a hint to place the next correct one.
How the scoring works
Solving a word is worth 400 points, plus up to 600 more for speed. The time bonus drains over the first half minute, so a quick solve is worth the full 1,000 and a slow one settles at 400. Each hint costs 150, and a solve never pays less than 50. Skipping a word scores nothing. Ten quick solves is a perfect 10,000.
A trick that helps
Look for letter pairs that often sit together, like TH, CH, ER or ING, and place those first. Then try the vowels in different spots. Country names often end in -IA, -AN or -AND.
Questions
How does the scoring work?
Every word is worth up to 1,000 points and the points drain away while you think, so a fast answer is worth far more than a slow one. A hint costs you some of what is left, and a skip scores nothing.
How many words are there?
Three hundred, across nine packs, each word written with its own hint. Pick a pack you know something about, or take Random and get all nine mixed together.
What does Random do differently?
It draws from every pack at once, so you never know what is coming. Because the word alone is no clue, the category it came from is shown under the letters.
Do I need an account?
No. You can play as a guest for as long as you like. An account puts your best game of the day on the leaderboard and keeps it there.
Can I play it on a phone?
Yes. Tap the letters in order, or type them if you have a keyboard. Shuffle rearranges the rack if the jumble has stopped helping.
