The Crystal Ball
Think of something you’ve been wondering about, then ask. The ball answers straight, every time — and it has never once said “it depends”.

How it works
Type a question, press Ask, and the mist does the rest. The ball has 205 answers written by hand — some say yes, some say no, and some refuse to be pinned down. All of them were written by our team of editors, the same as everything else here.
Does it actually know?
No. The answer is picked at random, which is the honest way to run a crystal ball. The crystal does not read your question, and it could not answer it if it did.
What happens to my question?
Our editors keep a list of what people ask, so we know what the crystal is being used for. We keep the question and nothing else — not your name, not your account, not your address, nothing that says who asked it. So please do not type anything private into it, the same as anywhere else on the internet.
Can I ask again?
As many times as you like. The ball has no memory and no shame. If you do not like an answer, ask again — everybody does.
